Your Perch stand needs very little looking after. Keep it somewhere dry and shaded, dust it now and then, and put each wig back clean and dry. That's most of it.

Where to put it

Set the tabletop stand on a flat, steady surface, and the floor stand on level floor where it won't get knocked. Direct sun can fade hair over time, so a spot away from the window is best. It's also worth keeping it clear of radiators and bathroom steam. Leave enough room around the heads for long pieces to hang freely.

Cleaning the stand

A soft, dry cloth takes care of dust on the metal frame. If there's a mark, use a cloth that's barely damp and dry the frame straight after. Skip scouring pads and harsh cleaners, since they can dull the finish. For the fabric heads, a clothes brush or lint roller lifts dust and stray hairs.

Looking after the wigs on it

Brush each wig before it goes back on, and make sure it's completely dry first. Set it on the dome from front to back so the cap sits the way it does when you wear it. If you've got long pieces, give them room so they don't rest on the next head.

There's more in our guides on storing a sheitel between wears and storing multiple wigs.

Assembly

If anything about putting your stand together isn't clear, email info@perchcollection.com with your order number and we'll help. Hang on to the gift box and packaging until you're happy with the setup, because a return within 14 days needs the original packaging.

Adding four more heads

The Four-Head Add-On fits the four-head floor stand and adds a second tier, for eight heads in all.
