About premium wig stands

Premium wig stands made for the bedroom

Most wig stands are built for a salon counter: a mannequin head on an adjustable tripod, clamped at working height for cutting and setting. Perch Collection makes stands for the hours a wig or sheitel spends waiting between wears. Each one holds several pieces on cushioned, fabric-covered dome heads, and it's finished to sit on a dresser or stand in a closet without looking like equipment.

A tabletop stand for three

The Three-Head Tabletop Wig Stand ($295) puts three dome heads on slim stems above a round metal base. It fits on a dresser, a vanity or a closet shelf, and it suits a weekday wig, a Shabbos sheitel and one more for occasions. It also has its own page, the three-head wig stand.

A floor stand for four, then eight

The Four-Head Wig Stand ($595) stands on the floor: one pole on a round base, four curved arms and a padded head at the end of each. When your collection outgrows four, the add-on ($195) puts a second tier of heads on the same pole, so one footprint holds eight. If you're storing a full rotation, start with wig stands for multiple wigs.

Storage stands and styling stands compared

Styling stands are tools. A tripod with adjustable height, a head clamp and a canvas block or styrofoam mannequin head holds one piece still while it's cut, pinned or set. Portable and collapsible versions fold into a bag for travel. They're sturdy and useful, and they're made to be put away afterwards.

A storage stand stays out. Its job is to keep each piece in shape and in reach, and to look good in the room. That's why Perch uses rounded heads that support the whole crown, puts several of them on one base, and finishes the frame in black, gold or white to match your furniture. You'll find more on finishes under luxury wig stands and metal wig stands.

Every stand ships free within the US, in a gift box. Sheitel owners can go straight to sheitel stands, and if you're buying for a bride, see kallah gifts.

Questions about wig stands

What is the best stand for storing a collection?

Count the pieces you wear in a normal week. Three or fewer fit the tabletop stand. Four or more point to the floor stand, with the add-on in reserve for eight. Our guide to choosing your Perch covers room size and placement.

Can I use these as a stand for styling?

They're made for storage and display. For cutting or setting, a clamp-on styling head at working height does that job better. Perch Collection stands keep the finished style in shape between wears.

Will a human hair wig keep its shape on a dome head?

A dome supports the crown the way your head does. Brush the wig, let it dry fully, then set it on from front to back. Our guide to storing multiple wigs covers day-to-day storage.

How much is shipping, and can I return a stand?

Standard shipping is free on US orders, and orders placed after 2 PM ship the next business day. If a stand isn't right, you can return it within 14 days, unused and in its original packaging.

Can I pay in installments?

Shop Pay can split the price into four interest-free payments at checkout, subject to an eligibility check.
